Delivered by Jared Long and Lee Breen from Train to Clean, the course focuses on the principles, methods and decision-making needed to clean upholstery professionally. From everyday suites through to finer and more delicate fabrics, delegates will learn how to assess items correctly, choose suitable cleaning methods, and avoid the common mistakes that can lead to costly problems.
This is not just about cleaning upholstery. It is about understanding fabric behaviour, risk assessment, product selection, moisture control, stain removal and practical technique so you can achieve better results with greater confidence.
This course is designed to help cleaners move beyond guesswork and build a stronger understanding of upholstery and delicate fabric care.
With a balance of classroom learning and practical, hands-on training, delegates gain real knowledge they can apply on live jobs. The aim is to help you make better choices, reduce risk, and deliver a higher standard of service across a wider range of upholstery fabrics.
It is ideal for cleaners wanting to strengthen their core upholstery skills, improve results, and offer a more specialist service.
Over the 2 days, delegates will cover key areas including:

Upholstery cleaning can be one of the most valuable services a cleaner offers, but it is also one of the areas where confidence can be low if training is limited.
This course is designed to give delegates a stronger understanding of how fabrics behave, which methods are safest, and how to approach each job with more care and professionalism. Whether you are learning from scratch or refining your existing skills, the focus is on helping you work more confidently and achieve more consistent results.
This course is delivered by Jared Long and Lee Breen from Train to Clean, combining structured training with practical industry experience. Their teaching approach helps delegates understand not just what to do, but why it matters, giving cleaners stronger foundations and more confidence in real working situations.
Courses begin at 9:00 AM and run until approximately 4:00 PM. A buffet lunch plus tea and coffee are included. The live page currently lists product variants for 14th & 15th May 2026 and 15th & 16th October 2026.
