Sub Surface Water Claw

The SOS Sub Surface Extraction Tool, is a powerful tool for carpet cleaning. By using a process called sub-surface extraction, it allows for targeted airflow to the pad and backing beneath the carpet, effectively extracting contaminants, odors, and liquids such as pet urine, feces, and vomit. This tool works hand-in-hand with our Smiley Paws Urine, Stain, and Odor Remover to create the StainOut System.

Sub Surface Extraction is a process used by professional carpet cleaners to thoroughly remove contaminants, liquids, and odors that have soaked into the carpet padding and upholstery. It is the best method for flushing out the true cause of odors and reappearing spots, short of removing the carpet.

To use the StainOut System, saturate the affected areas with Smiley Paws, allowing the cleaning solution to penetrate deep into the carpet's backing, padding, and subfloor to target the entire odor source. Then, use the SOS Tool with an extractor, truck mount, or wet-and-dry vacuum to flush out the solution and contaminants from the carpet.

The SOS Tool is designed to fit any standard wet-and-dry vacuum, carpet extractor, or truck mount with 1.25", 1.5", or 2" hoses. For even better results, this tool can be used in conjunction with a UV light to identify urine and protein stains, as well as Smiley Paws urine cleaner.
